SGI, also known as Silicon Graphics, Inc, announced today that it has been advised by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) that its common stock – ticker symbol SGI – will no longer be traded on the NYSE beginning with the opening of business on Monday, November 7, 2005.

Sad, sad, sad. SGI was a great company…and another example that having great technology is not always enough.
Nice having you here, Catherine! I’ve been following your blog too, started following it when I was with IBM. I agree though, SGI was a great company with great products. That’s too bad…I hope that they are able to pull back up.
